2019 is turning out to be a year of many firsts; last month, Danae and I went to the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in Butte, MT for the first time ever and in February, we went to the Gallatin Valley and Big Sky Skijoring races for the first time as well, even though she is a Montana native and we have been living in Bozeman since the summer of 2011.
This weekend, we found ourselves making our way to the Big Sky Resort Pond Skim, which every year marks the closing of the ski season in Big Sky. As soon as Danae and I found ourselves in the middle of a snowball war, we both wondered if we were getting too old for these kinds of events. Regardless, it was a great deal of fun watching skiers and snowboarders crash, glide, and show off their skills during this year’s pond skim. Here are my favorite shots from the day; hope you enjoy!
