Last weekend was the Montana State University Bobcat Scrimmage, an event that draws hundreds of eager Bobcat fans to watch the practice season kickoff. I tagged along with my friend Felix Marquez, a pro sports photographer who started Bobcat Football Magazine, to capture some of the action and perhaps learn a thing or two from him. As a sports photographer, Felix has covered indie event you may have heard of such as the Super Bowl, the Sumer & Winter Olympics, the Masters, the US Open, among many others. Here are my favorite photos from the scrimmage. Hope you enjoy!
This weekend is MSU’s Homecoming and to kick the festivities off, Downtown Bozeman hosted a pep rally with free hot dogs and music for the public. Here are my favorite shots from the pep rally; I hope you enjoy them.
In America, football sits at the throne of all sports. However, I would like to argue that there is another contact sport that is not only more physically demanding, but is also far more interesting to spectate and experience. Have you ever heard rugby?
Perhaps not, but yesterday I had the chance to photograph the Labor Day training session of the Montana State University Men’s Rugby Club (that’s right; these laddies don’t believe in days off), and I can assure you that the passion, the intensity, and the camaraderie of this sport is unparalleled.
Here are some of my most favorite photos from their practice. I hope you enjoy them.
